Dear Friends and Supporters of Esther's Aid,
It’s my pleasure to connect to our Global Giving committed donors and friends through this report. We are excited with the prospect that we shall be moving to the Village of Peace by 2020. How? Commitment to the cause. This is your investment!
The Village of Peace (VOP) will take our programs to another level by reaching additional number of youth, increasing the impact, transforming the Rwandan hospitality industry and keeping Esther's Aid sustainable. The infrastructure is on-going and shall be completed by the end of 2020.
For the past 10 years, we have been able to take thousands of youth from low income families into intensive 15 months’ Culinary Arts and Hospitality Training. They have been educated in culinary techniques and skills. This has positioned them to secure employment in the 5 Star and other finest hotels in Rwanda. Their lives and families have been changed and transformed. This is how the Esther's Aid Model works!
The Village of Peace (VOP) will be a permanent campus for all educational and related activities. It will provide an integrated facility to house existing training activities and more. The project will include 12 classrooms, Culinary Kitchen, Restaurant, Bakery, Dormitories, Cafeteria, Library, Computer lab, Clinic/Health Center, Sewing Design & Fashion Accessories, Exhibition Room, Gift Shop/Supermarket, Multi-purpose Halls, 5 let-able Guest Residences or Chalets, Event Halls and Chapel. There will also be an Auditorium and enough space to include a State-of-the-Art Kitchen, Storage Facility, Administrative Offices, Conference Rooms, Sports Facility and the Parking Lot! Additionally, there will be a walk way, fence, farming area and a finished road. All these components will move to The Village of Peace. That’s why we can't wait to move!!!
WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR CONTINOUS SUPPORT!
God bless you and yours!
