The Village of Peace will be home to Esther's Aid in Kigali, Rwanda and all our Programs - including our renowned Culinary Arts Program. It will provide emergency housing and treatment for our Survivors of Sex Trafficking. Our Partnership with the International Potato Center (CIP) will be implemented with our potato garden and baked goods from The Heavenly Bakery. There will be a Community Center, a Library, Medical Clinic and Boutique Hotel. It will be a place of learning and respite for all.
Esther's Aid needs permanent housing. Our dream to finish the Village of Peace this year will resolve this problem. The project is already in progress as you can see by our photos.
It will provide permanent housing for Esther's Aid and all our Programs. It will be a Community Center for the people of Kigali and beyond. It will provide education, skills training and medical help, etc. to the community. Esther's Aid will not have to pay for rental facilities. Plus, we will build state of the art facilities for our Culinary Arts Program, Computer & Entrepreneurship Program, Emergency Relief for the Victims of Sex Trafficking, Library and Hotel for villagers and visitors.
The long term impact of this Project will be that Esther's Aid will become financially independent and self sustaining for years to come. It will give Esther's Aid the opportunity to reinvest in our programs and our community. Plus, we will be able to expand our initiatives to serve more people in need.
