Dreams of Alice

By Leila Ismailova | Project Leader

Which artist doesn't want appreciation?

Just like any other creative person our masters with disabilities are always eager to share their works with the world. It’s really hard for them, as living in a closed institution, deprives them from many opportunities. But when we started preparations for our collection of works that we called “Dreams of Alice” we knew for sure: these paintings should not be locked in the orphanage.

So we organized an exhibition in a local loft, showing the public the unique vision ofour artists with disabilities on the well-known tale Alice in Wonderland. The event helped us to shown people, once again, that people with disabilities can be as talented and gifted as any other person.

We want to share these photos with you, so that no matter how far you are from Russia and St. Petersburg, you can be a part of such an important event for us. Thank you for making it happen! We will really appreciate if you consider donating to the project again, so that out artists can go on painting.

The paintings can also be brought. If you like to buy one, please contact us:
