Dear Friends,
In April of 2011 we launched our campaign to build a new green Learning Resource Center during an Open Challenge. Thanks to your support, we raised over $28,000 and came out on top of over 250 other organizations to win the challenge, earning a $3,000 bonus!
Currently, the roof is on, computers are ready to go and the students and teachers of Wamunyu eagerly await the Center’s opening. The facility will serve the village as a community center and connect thousands to the 21st Century with computer training and access to the internet. But we need your help to reach the finish line.
Our goal is to have the center open this November. Please help us raise $15,000 by October 31 so we can complete construction and install solar panels.
