How nice to see your students go through the first year of their training!  YOU  have done an excellent job, YOUR students have just completed the 3rd grade of their training and they have done their exams. This has been a wonderful experience for both of us, them learning new things and us seeing the progress.  The clothing and technology students have not only learned how to make dresses but in their first year they have also learnt doormat making and other hand made accessories.

All these has been realised because of YOU, your support and commitment is taking these students somewhere.  We have always thought that support is for the children who are orphaned, but we have youth both girls and boys who are orphaned and they never had the opportunity to go on with their education due to lack of fees. It is never late as the skills they are undertaking will give them an opportunity to achieve their dreams. They can still join universities if they will have a chance to continue.

Many of them are still struggling with fees, we had 43 students but we only have 18 and others are home as they cant raise fees. We are humbly requesting YOU, our friends to share the word out, we are willing to bring all these students back and please this will happen if we will bring our friend on board. Share our 10 dollar per month  fund and student sponsorship, 450 per year.  Lets come together and give the youth a second chance.

It is all happening and there are very high expectations in the future of the youth and the entire community. YOU have made them proud and their thinking towards life has changed. The students are working hard, they are performing well in their exams. All are excited in every stage of their studies.

It is all because of YOU! We couldn’t be seeing all these if it were not for your sacrifices and commitment in supporting these students. Motor vehicle mechanic technology has been introduces and all the students are working harder, driving has become so interesting as they learn and it is because of your support.

The new workshop was built by our students under supervision of their insttructo. YOU have all made this possible and we are proud of YOU!  We still need to expand our donor community and we pray that you will continue to share with friends and families. YOU have given 35 youths (young boys and girls) a second chance in life.

YOU have given them and opportunity to rediscover, revive their talents and go for them. Some are foot players, volley ball players, net ball players and even athletes! They have an opportunity to compete with other institutions and all is because of YOU!

They are always excited about every other new day as they learn new things every day! Some have can now saw their own dresses, others can lay bricks, others can service a motor vehicle and all is about YOU.

YOU not only given them an opportunity to learn and have skills but an opportunity to change their behavior and reform. This change you have brought is not only for the youth but for the entire community! YOU have brought peace in the community and there is growth of skilled people. There is light that is coming to this community, this is all because of your sacrifice and commitment to give.

It is another time we humble ourselves to thank you for being part of our family in a special way. Throughout this year you have been a blessing in our lives and you have made us who we are. We know you have sacrificed to make us smile, have food on our tables and even be able to go to school. Some of us are now having skills and we are proud of you.

We know you by your names, we have never met you but we see you through ourselves as the life we have is because of you. We just take this opportunity to thank you and wish you all a happy merry christmas and a prosperous happy new year!

The trade school was officially opened and commissioned on the 26th Sept 2014!  It was a great day and we had 400 adults and 300 children during this celebration.  The even was colourful and the guest of honour was the Deputy High Commissioner of Australia to Kenya.

We have started with the following courses: Fashion and Design, Masonry, Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing and Computer Skills.  We have 10 sewing machines, some carpentry tools and masonry tools.  We still don't have computers but the classroom is ready.  We already have 5 students who are doing Fashion and Design and we are looking forward to having more as we have just opened.

We are hoping to support the orphans who never made it to high school because of lack of school fees and are at home.  The trade school is not only giving skills but will give counseling to the youth who have lost hope in their lives.  We are looking forward to the construction of boarding facilities and more workshops to help us get students from other communities.

We wouldn't have come this far without your efforts and commitments.  We sincerely thank you all for making this happen.  We have no words to express the joy but know that you have done a wonderful job towards the Lurale Hill County Polytechnic.  We are looking forward to chainging lives of the youth especially the orphans and vulnerable.

The fees per year is $250 per student and we are requesting that you share with friends to enable us to cater for the orphaned youth.  Kindly share on your social pages, churches, groups and clubs to expand our donor family.

Once again thank you so much for your commitment and sacrifice towards this huge achievement.
