Women over 40 in Argentina face multiple barriers to employment, including age discrimination, years out of the workforce due to caregiving, limited access to training, weak professional networks, and fewer opportunities where they live. This project will help 300 women rebuild their confidence, develop new skills, expand their networks, and access decent work or sustainable self-employment, improving their economic security and quality of life
Women over 40 in Argentina face age discrimination, career interruptions due to caregiving, limited access to training, weak professional networks, and fewer job opportunities. Despite their experience and potential, many struggle to regain financial independence and remain excluded from decent work, increasing their economic vulnerability.
Through our Employment Reintegration Program (ARE), women over 40 receive employability and digital skills training, career guidance, mentoring, networking, and personalized support. Beyond training, they become part of a supportive community that rebuilds confidence, strengthens employability, and connects them with employment or entrepreneurship opportunities, fostering long-term economic independence.
This project will increase women's long-term economic independence by improving access to decent employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning opportunities. Participants will strengthen their confidence, professional networks, and employability, creating lasting benefits for themselves, their families, and their communities while helping reduce gender and age-related inequalities in the labor market.
