Many young people in rural Ghana have limited access to technology education and digital skills training, leaving them unprepared for opportunities in the modern economy. As demand for technology skills continues to grow, rural youth risk being left behind due to a lack of resources, training, and exposure.
Youth in rural communities often face significant barriers to technology education, including limited access to computers, internet connectivity, and qualified instructors. As a result, many talented young people miss opportunities to develop valuable digital skills that are increasingly required in today's workforce. This digital divide contributes to unemployment and limits economic mobility.
This project will provide coding training, computer literacy education, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities for 300 rural youth. Participants will learn programming fundamentals, web development, problem-solving, digital literacy, and other technology-related skills. The project will also provide access to computers, learning resources, and career guidance to help participants continue their digital learning journey.
This project will equip 300 rural youth with valuable technology skills that can improve their employment prospects, support entrepreneurship, and increase participation in the digital economy. It will help bridge the digital divide, create pathways to economic opportunity, and empower young people to contribute to the development of their communities.
