Hi from all of us at the Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse. A huge thank you to our 44 donors, your generosity has raised a wonderful $3694 so far to support vulnerable teeneagers and young people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
A representative from Herts Young Homeless joined us for our weekly club breakfast recently and gave us an update on all their project work including Night Stop Herts which is the particular project that your donations have supported. The first tranche cheque was handed over and the charity would like us to pass on their grateful thanks for your support of their vital work.
This is the first time that the Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse has used the Global Giving platform to raise awareness and funds for a particular project and we are delighted that the worldwide reach of this platform has resulted in donations from individuals far and wide so, a special Hi and thank you to those of you who found our project through Global Giving we welcome you as Friends of the Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse and look forward to keeping in touch .
