Building collapses in Accra have left many victims injured, homeless, and struggling to recover after losing loved ones, homes, businesses, and personal belongings. Survivors often face medical emergencies, financial hardship, and emotional trauma with little support available. This project will provide emergency relief, medical assistance, temporary shelter, and recovery support for 100 victims affected by building collapse disasters in Accra.
Unsafe structures, poor building conditions, and overcrowded urban areas continue to increase the risk of building collapses in Accra. Victims often suffer serious injuries, displacement, loss of property, and psychological trauma. Many affected families lack the financial resources needed for emergency treatment, temporary accommodation, food, and rebuilding support after disasters.
This project will provide emergency medical support, food aid, temporary shelter assistance, clothing, hygiene supplies, and household recovery support for victims of building collapses. The project will also support affected families with counseling referrals, emergency transportation, and basic rebuilding assistance where needed.
This project will help 100 victims recover from the impact of building collapse disasters in Accra. It will improve emergency support for affected families, reduce disaster-related hardship, and help vulnerable households regain stability, safety, and dignity during recovery.
