Thanks to the generosity of our donors, over one hundred Maya families enjoyed a traditional holiday meal last year. Maya Jaguar school staff and teachers delivered meal baskets to the families of our students in several villages in the remote northern area of the Department of Huehuetenango before the December holiday season. The baskets, including a live chicken, brought nutritious joy and smiles to all. This annual progrma is part of our outreach to impoverished Maya families in the area where malnutrition remains a problem and families make do with day labor wages or subsistent farming. Thank you for helping us mak a difference in their lives!
