This year we are happy to report that 600 mosquito nets were distributed, one drinking well was constructed, 5,300 vaccinations were given, and health training was provided for 24 health agents and 24 matrons. Thank you for helping to make these projects possible this year!
As the villagers of Ouelessebougou approach the rainy season, they are anxious to have a mosquito net to protect them from malaria—Africa’s most life-threatening disease. We are anxious to raise the funds needed to distribute nets to all families in need. We are also anxious to finish our last round of vaccinations for the year. The health agents and matrons are certainly busy this time of year. We look forward to continue working with them and with Village Health Councils in 24 villages!
