“Reproductive Health Education for Young Generation, while fundraising”

Young generation are very identic with the active generation, tend to be very close and solid with their community. During a pandemic situation which limits their movement for a long time, makes them depressed more than adults and older generation.

To facilitate the passion of young people to meet each other with their communities, and to stimulate economic activity, Bazaar event was held on 8 may 2021 in Geo Open Space attended by young community running with strict health protocols as well.

YRS took this opportunity to participate in providing education and raising funds.

Reproductive health education with face to face turns out to be not as easy as educating older generation. Many young people are still shy to listen and participate in education about Reproductive Health. Some of them even show a sense of ignorance and unwillingness when we are tried to talk about reproductive health. This might be happens because they do not know and feel they have no problems related to reproductive health. However, the YRS team did not just give up, there was always a way to try to raise awareness and make the public realize the importance of reproductive health so that they finally became interested in listening.

And finally... they are are these youngsters who came to the bazaar event, began to be interested in listening to information about general health and reproductive health as well.

“Shopping to Badung Market, I get a Healthy Bonus”

"I didn't expect, at first I came to the market just to shop, to buy daily groceries, uh, it turns out I got a very valuable additional bonus, a health problem that has been making me anxious and confused, finally got help and enlightenment at the Badung market through the Clinic. Rama Sesana Foundation.”

Shopping is a very routine activity for a woman, it can be a fun activity or it can be a tiring activity...

A Women named Ardila do the same thing. Shehas small warung in another places around Denpasar Utara, she sell Fresh Juice and some creakers for snack. One day she came to Pasar Badung to fulfill her sales needs. Even though she actually had health problem that she felt interfered with her daily life, but felt embarrassed and did not know who to ask. Accidentally, while shopping at the Badung market, she complained to some of seller on badung market of feeling sick and unable to lift his groceries into the parking lot.

The seller who told by Mrs Ardila, is also a regular client of YRS at the Pasar Badung clinic, she immediately realized that Mrs. Ardila has problems related to women's health, so she began to provide education and brief explanations about the damage and problems of women's health if not handled routine and properly.

Then she informed about the YRS clinic in the Badung market and advised Mrs. Ardilla to seek more detailed information at the YRS Clinic, which is located on the 1st floor of Badung Market so she does’nt have to travel far to other places. Accept the advice and explanation from the seller's Mrs.Ardila felt very happy because the problem that she had been hiding and confused herself finally will be solved and got a solution in the Yayasan Rama Sesana clinic.
