Desai Foundation Trust in collaboration with Swatantra Micro Housing Finance Corporation (SMHFC) and Awas Nebula organized a comprehensive medical health camp in Moraiya village, Ahmedabad on 6th October 2019. It was attended by 312 individuals (children and their parents) from nearby marginalized communities. It was a comprehensive health camp that focused on child health and maternal health. This time, we wanted to extend our support to the parents of the children living in the marginalized communities. This was our first project in Moraiya Village, and we plan to organize more such camps in collaboration with the local companies in India. Approximately, 70 individuals were provided with general health diagnosis and received medicines for the same. 122 individuals underwent eye checkups and received medicines for the same. 50 children underwent pediatric checkups and received medicines for the same.
