Dear friends and family of Hearts of Gold

By Maria Jose Orellana | Director

Dear friends and family of Hearts of Gold, it is an honor to greet you and hope you are doing well.  We are very grateful for your support and are happy to tell you about new developments in our Community Assistance program.

As you know, our objective is to educate and empower leaders of non-profit organizations that are legally established in the country, with the intention of creating sustainability and sustainability in all their programs and services to the community.
These months have been of much cooperative work, we have been able to perform personalized mentoring to each of the partner organizations, in areas of finance, communication, marketing and fundraising, with the intention of achieving new international partnerships. With NOVA, CETAP LUCY, EL ARENAL, OSSO foundations.
The first foundation is JACARINA, whose mission is to shelter rescued dogs that have been in a situation of abandonment and street, the second foundation is LADRILLO VERDE whose mission is to shelter and provide care to children, adolescents, the elderly and families living in abandonment and begging, in the community of punta hacienda, a rural community far from the city.
Within the community assistance program, we have also considered it important to include empowerment and self-care topics for the staff that works on a daily basis and works in contact with beneficiaries.  We know that every day we must take care of ourselves in order to take care of others. We also consider it important to include new alliances with strategic professionals in the areas of psychology and legal sciences, due to the high rate of domestic violence and violence against women, and in the event that they are victims of violence, they will know how to respond and act in a legal and psychological way.  The only way to eradicate violence is by putting a stop, preventing and protecting each other. Thanks to your support these workshops have been a total success and we have been able to address them in a comprehensive manner. Thank you for your support, we are sure that by working cooperatively and educating ourselves every day we will eradicate social problems.
Thank you for having a heart of gold, and for making many hearts continue to beat.
Together we build a more just and humanitarian society.

Together We Are the Change.
