An alarming fact is that 75% of nonprofits in Ecuador close within a 3 year period. This means that struggling communities lose the critical services they need. Hearts of Gold has been working to transform this reality through our Community Assistance Program by providing workshops, mentoring, dialogues & networking opportunities. The CAP program emboldens each mission, each leader, each organization, to reach their potential in their service to the community.
Think about a grassroots organization desperately trying to help their struggling community. Now imagine that you're under-funded, under-resourced and have no where to turn for help. Our CAP program works to transform this reality. When you invest in these organizations, through education and training, you keep their doors open and services flowing to the community, which so desperately need the nonprofit.
Hearts of Gold has a proven Community Assistance Program that attacks the problem of struggling organizations at its core. By providing skill-building workshops, dedicated one-on-one mentoring, community dialogues, and networking opportunities, grassroots leaders and their organizations can beat the odds, stay open and continue to provide much needed services to their communities. Through working together and providing the tools necessary for success, we can break the nonprofit starvation cycle.
The long-term impact of investing in non-profit leaders & organizations pays dividends to the community. By supporting CAP members, more than 1500 children and families in the communities they serve will benefit. Research proves that by supporting local nonprofits, strengthening their resources and improving their skills, more sustainable and impactful programs are maintained which help struggling communities. This campaign allows Hearts of Gold to invest in the CAP and improve its services.
