Updated November, 2025: Since early 2012 this program has been serving 65 children from 30 disadvantaged families in the villages near Antigua, Guatemala, cultivating the love of learning while they are young. At our school, children are cognitively and emotionally stimulated through educational activities and games. This program also empowers mothers to work in other jobs than in the fields, not only improving their financial situation, but also increasing self-worth.
The meaning of life is to give life meaning. It's when we don't have someone to serve that we sink deepest into our own personal misery. There is hardship in this world, but there is also relief. Within moments of desperation, there is always a spark of hope. When we work towards something greater than ourself, we find find relief from what weighs us down.
Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) is the start date for our End-of-Year Match Drive! and our most important funding drive of the year!
