Women Empowerment

Dear donors,

2023 is already here and for us means a year of challenges and possible achievements. In the coming months we are commited to work with a new group of young people with the aim of strenghning social and technical skills. 

We are working hand by hand with our partners towards a process were equaliy and inclusion are the pillars of the job opportunities for the youngsters.

Through our different activities we managed to support young women to enter to work in fabrics, usually jobs related to men ( cultural bias). 

We have also worked with the managers, chiefs, and HHRR teams in order to deconstruct the unconcious bias that still persist in working enviroments related to gender, cultur, economic and educational backgroungs, among other. The worshorps were dictated in parnertship with the University of Buenos Aires.

The project Conectando Oportunidades is focused in develop a culture of diversity, equality and inclusion. So the project, not only works with young people but also with leaders.

At this moment we are working with Unilever Argentina in order to help achieve its global goal regarding youth and employement.

We are sure that any social change is linked to cultural organizational change and individual change. Change the perspective and the way that companies think about the inclusion of vulberable youth in its organizations. 

This project aim to provide job trainings and formal job opportunities to young people that live near the Parque Industrial de Pilar in the Buenos Aires Province.

In the coming months we will be able to share with you the impact that this project managed to provide to the young women who participate.

Dear Donors,

The last two years of pandemic were difficult, but now we can get back to our projects that seek to promote the personal development of women in situations of psychosocial vulnerability.

We were able to give workshops were we intervened in the subjectivity of women through a deep understanding of their family context, personal history, previous work experience, as well as dealing with issues such as domestic violence.

Now we continue with Creators, our project regarding women empowerment. It is expected to also have an impact on people from the community, where the experience will surely be replicated. That is why this project has been designed to be sustainable.

With your help, the empowerment of women will create new agents of social change!

Dear donors,

After almost two years of pandemic we are back on tranck. Creators is the name for our new project regarding women empowerment! 

We invite you to take a closer look to its main points. 

We train and accompany  young women who are going thought situations of social vulnerability, to promote the creation of vital projects that strengthen the singular life spaces and community networks.

How do we do it?

Building an autobiographical diagnosis and critically reflecting on singular contexts.

Making visible, analyzing and deconstructing the representations that participate in the production of  social inequalities, evaluating challenges and opportunities to create other possible life contexts.

Incorporating updated and effective tools that allow the exercise of inclusive leadership.

 Training and accompanying women in the design of a vital / occupational / labor project that promotes the  expansion of their freedoms.

Through a series of face-to-face workshops designed to make visible, reflect on and jointly create strategies that enhance the opportunities to transform the  singular contexts of each participant, focusing on subjective resources as an essential requirement for the expansion and enrichment of the vital context.

General objective

Create, together with women strategies through the creation of vital, occupational and work projects that enhance and expand vital opportunities.

Specific objectives

1.- Accompany each woman in a subjective reflection process through a critical and reflective analysis of her current life situation.

2.- Build with each woman her Occupational Training Project

3.- Promote the appropriation of technical and subjective tools so that they are incorporated as effective vital resources.

Dear donors,

A new wave of coronavirus is hitting Argentina. In the last weeks, the goverment impossed new restrictions and a new full lockdown is now taking place. These new measures obliged us to put all our social projects on hold.

We hope in a new report we could bring you better news. By now our priority is the safety and protection of the communities where we develop our projects as well as the safety of the professional team that work in the field.

The executive board of Fundación Oportunidad is absoluty commited to develop the projects in our full capacity as soon as the restrictions are lifted and the context makes it possible.
