Dear gracious donors,
Your generosity and compassion are truly inspiring. Thank you for believing in the Access Agriculture campaign “Support young changemakers in India” on the GlobalGiving platform.Your contribution is giving young rural women entrepreneurs a huge opportunity to achieve their potential and help their communitiesgrow food without the use of toxic chemicals.
- Two women-led entrepreneur teams associated with SUSAG Millet Sisters and SABALA organisations have motivated nearly 2750 farmers, 55% of whom were women farmers, from indigenous communities to adopt natural farming practices and organic food production. The SUSAG Millet Sisters organisation celebrated the International Women’s Day on 8 March 2025 by paying a tribute to its 960 founding members.
- Thanks to your kind support, a special effort was made to provide practical knowledge to these young entrepreneur teams in the preparation of herbal medicines for cattle, so that they can provide advisory services to farmers on animal health care.
- In Madhya Pradesh state, young women entrepreneurs along with their team members were able to screen farmer training videos using the Smart Projector for over 2000 farmers, 61% of whom were women.
These results are truly impressive and none of this success would be possible without your generosity. Your donation has made all the difference for these women.
Sincerely,

Dear benefactor of Access Agriculture’s young changemakers,
Season's greetings! As the year comes to a close and we celebrate this festive season, we are filled with gratitude for your generous contributions to Access Agriculture campaign “Support young changemakers in India” on the GlobalGiving platform.
Your incredible generosity has come as a blessing and a beacon of hope for our young women Entrepreneurs for Rural Access (ERAs) who are from underprivileged background. It has opened doors and provided them with invaluable opportunities, as can be seen from some of the recent examples:
- The organisation associated with one of the woman-led entrepreneurs has become a leading producer and supplier of organic millet varieties in Andhra Pradesh state, India. The entrepreneur team is dedicated to promoting sustainable farming practices through the use of digital skills and tools acquired by the team thanks to your generous support.
- Another entrepreneur team in Andhra Pradesh has been doing extensive training on small-scale mushroom production in the indigenous tribal community and has helped the rural youth and women to set up 120 mushroom production enterprises.
- The new entrepreneur team in Madhya Pradesh state in India, launched through your support, is focusing on the training of farmers in bio-fertiliser production. The team is already providing e-advisory services to various programmes related to agriculture and health.
Thank you for being the driving force of the entrepreneurial journey of these young changemakers, who are helping scale ecological farming in India using video.
Wishing you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year!
With gratitude,

Significant impact of your support

Dear generous benefactor,
We are deeply grateful for your large-hearted contribution to Access Agriculture campaign “Support young changemakers in India” on the GlobalGiving platform. The campaign is helping young women embark as entrepreneurs to bring knowledge on nature-friendly farming to their communities using a smart projector containing videos.
- One of the woman-led entrepreneurs has trained rural families in setting up nutri-gardens (an advanced form of kitchen garden) as a source of nutrition and income. This has helped the farm families grow indigenous varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices, without the use of chemical inputs. This team’s story has been featured in LEISA (a magazine on ecological agriculture) and our publication “Young changemakers.”
- Your support has allowed us to equip a new team led by young women entrepreneurs with a smart projector and digital skills in central India. In the first month, using the smart projector this team has already trained over 80 women farmers in producing organic biofertiliser to improve soil fertility and plant growth. Moreover, the team is earning a small but steady revenue by providing its e-advisory services to other like-minded organisations.
These women changemakers couldn’t have achieved all this without your generous support! We truly can’t thank you enough for helping these young women entrepreneurs make a positive impact on their community.
Sincerely,
