Dear Gracious Donors, you are truly making a difference in the lives of vulnerable communities!

We are so thankful that you chose to donate to Access Agriculture’s campaign “Give wings to women entrepreneurs in rural India” on GlobalGiving platform.

This campaign aims at enhancing digital skills of six young women entrepreneur teams in rural India to use quality videos to train their communities grow healthy food without chemicals.

Your generosity has given two of these teams a chance to achieve their dreams to bring knowledge of natural farming practices from around the world to strengthen their farming communities’ resilience to climate change.

Your donation has already made a great impact:

Thanks to your support and based on their proposals, two women-led entrepreneur teams were able to receive a smart projector kit each, containing a library of quality farmer training videos in local languages, on 23-25 January 2023, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
The members of these teams, known as Entrepreneurs for Rural Access, or ERAs in short, were offered a hands-on training, led by Access Agriculture entrepreneur coaches for India, on the use and functions of the smart projector and also on a simple data collection application.
The ERAs have also been coached on how to become successful e-advisory service providers and skilled facilitators in screening training video shows.
Armed with these digital tools and skills, the two ERA teams have already facilitated video shows for more than 330 rural people, including nearly 200 young women and schoolgirls) in about 12 villages in southern India. Many of the beneficiaries who have watched the videos are now using environment-friendly farming practices on their farms.
