Many rural and remote villages across Indonesia still lack reliable access to clean, safe drinking water. According to recent data, around 47,915 villages remain without clean-water access or basic water infrastructure. ims to raise funds to build water wells (boreholes or community wells) in 5 to 10 underserved villages. By delivering clean, safe water directly to homes or communal taps, we help improve health, hygiene, and quality of life for entire communities.
Without clean water, communities rely on unsafe sources (rivers, unprotected wells), which increases risk of water-borne diseases, diarrhoea, typhoid, and contributes to malnutrition or growth problems (especially for children), Many villagers (especially women and children) spend hours each day fetching water from distant or unreliable sources.
To solve this BAZNAS will Build water wells (boreholes or community wells) in targeted villages that currently lack clean water access, Provide supporting infrastructure: pumps or hand-pumps, storage tanks or water tanks (if needed), simple piping or distribution to community taps, and hygiene/sanitation facilities if required. We will also give celan water in some areas
The construction of these wells and community water systems will create a reliable, long-term source of clean water, ensuring that villagers can continue accessing safe water even during extended periods of drought.
