During July 2026, Weaving People to Grow Foundation (WPTGF) continued implementing the “Give the Gift of Education to Six Students” project with the support of GlobalGiving. The project aims to ensure that financially vulnerable students can continue their education through scholarship assistance.

During the reporting month July 2026, scholarship support was successfully provided to four students: Anaya Aqeel, Muskan Jamal, Angel Shahid, and Sharon Ariel Bob. Sharon Ariel Bob received reimbursement for her May–June 2026 tuition fees. These payments enabled the students to continue their education without interruption and reduced the financial burden on their families. The students are promoted to next classes like Anaya to class 8, Angel to 6, Sharon to class 6 and Muskan to class 12. Aaron has also been promoted to 4^th semester. Yubab is planning to take admission in nursing.

Two scholarship payments could not be processed during the month. Aaron Rowan Bob did not receive his scholarship because the available project funds were insufficient to cover his university fee for July 2026. Yubab was also not paid, as university admission had not yet been secured. Scholarship support for both students will be provided once the required conditions are met and sufficient funds become available.

In addition to scholarship assistance, project personnel costs for the support staff were covered during the reporting period. Overall, the project continues to contribute to improving access to education for deserving students while ensuring transparent and accountable financial management.

WPTGF remains committed to supporting the educational journey of all six beneficiaries and appreciates the continued support of GlobalGiving in helping young people pursue their academic goals.

Report - Give Gift of Education to Six Students

Weaving People to Grow Foundation, in collaboration with GlobalGiving and with the generous support of donors, continues to transform lives by enabling six students in Rawalpindi to pursue their education and work toward breaking the cycle of poverty.

Beyond financial assistance, WPTGF is committed to holistic development. Selected students are also engaged as interns at the WPTGF office, where they dedicate up to 10 hours per week. Through this experience, they are building essential professional skills, including official communication, event moderation, teamwork, and basic financial management, preparing them for future careers with confidence and competence. Currently, Aaron and Muskan are engaged as interns with WPTGF.

Three students—Anaya Aqeel, Angel Shahid, and Sharon Ariel Bob—are enrolled at St. Catherine’s Girls High School and Presentation Convent School. All three have successfully passed their annual examinations and been promoted to the next grades: Anaya to Class 8, and Angel and Sharon to Class 6. Their families have expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donors, as financial constraints previously placed their education at risk. Without this support, they would not have been able to sit for their examinations due to unpaid school fees.

Another student, Muskan Jamal, has progressed from Grade 11 to Grade 12 in ICOM (Commerce) at MCCS College. Coming from a low-income household—her father works at a petrol pump washing cars—Muskan remains determined and motivated. With continued support, she is now one step closer to achieving her academic and career aspirations.

Aaron Rowan Bob is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Management Studies at National Defence University. He has successfully completed his second semester and advanced to Semester 3. In addition to his academic achievements, Aaron serves as a Class Representative, demonstrating leadership, responsibility, and active participation in university life. He extends his sincere thanks to the donors and GlobalGiving for their ongoing support.

The sixth student, Yubab Pervez, is in the process of securing admission to a university. WPTGF remains committed to supporting him and will provide his scholarship once his enrollment is confirmed, ensuring continuity in his educational journey. Yubab was invited to WPTGF program Next Qadam held on March 19, 2026 at WPTGF premises to enroll himself to a mentorship program.

Through donor generosity and strategic partnerships, WPTGF is not only supporting education but also empowering young individuals with skills, confidence, and opportunities for a brighter and more sustainable future.
