Pakistan is in a state of educational emergency, with 26 million out-of-school children, rising youth marginalization, and deepening poverty. Many motivated youth and children lack the financial means to continue their studies. Families especially daily wage earners cannot consistently support education due to unstable incomes, and financial hardship forces millions to abandon schooling. Pakistan's literacy rate remains stagnant at 60% a figure that includes individuals who can write their name.
The six students studying in primary, middle and graduate are youth and highly enthusiastic to continue their education. They belong to underprivileged families who are not able to support their children's education. The parents of these children earns below USD 71 which is hardly enough to meet their basic needs. These students are in dire need of financial support to continue their education in their respective educational institutions.
The project will raise funds for two years initially for these students to continue and ultimately complete their education. The students will be supporting their family members after completion of their education and getting economically strengthened. The project will help to break the circle of poverty by educating these students. The students have pledged to contribute financially for other marginalized children to continue their education. This project will emerge as a movement.
Following will be the long term impact of the project: Improved access to education for marginalized communities. Enhanced economic mobility for beneficiary families. Promotion of dignity, confidence, and long-term empowerment. Establishment of a giving back model where beneficiaries sponsor future students. Development of an endowment fund to ensure program sustainability.
