We spent these months discussing with the stakeholders of the project which can be the best impact structure that Kito Onlus can build.
At the and we arrived to the decision of not to built a big shelter but we choose the construction of a smaller permanent structure, exagonal, with timber structure.
This building will be placed close to the new residential area, and it will be used from children (afternoon and weekend) and older citizens (morning).
The living conditions at Caldarola, after two years from the earthquake, are still tough. All the public offices are in containers, and the historic centre is still inhabited due to the buildings dangerous state.
We will start with the construction in a couple of months, waiting for better weather conditions!
