This project provides Eid al-Adha clothing and gifts to 100 orphaned and vulnerable children in Deir ez-Zor, Syria-an area devastated by years of war and poverty. During Eid al-Fitr, we supported 100 orphaned children with new clothes and gifts. Now we continue this effort to restore joy and dignity. A simple Eid outfit and gift can bring hope and confidence. Local volunteers will help identify and reach the most vulnerable children and ensure distributions are timely and dignified.
After years of war, most families in Deir ez-Zor live in poverty and damaged homes with no means to rebuild. Orphaned and vulnerable children are especially affected-they lack food, clothes, and emotional stability. Holidays like Eid al-Adha, which should be joyful, are painful reminders of what they've lost. The project also uplifts mothers, especially female-headed households, who cannot afford clothing for their children during such important occasions.
The project will provide 100 orphaned and vulnerable children with a complete Eid al-Adha outfit and a small gift. These items will be purchased locally and distributed before the holiday. This support helps children feel included and restores joy during a time that would otherwise deepen their trauma. It also empowers struggling mothers, especially female heads of households, by enabling them to bring happiness and dignity to their children.
