Hi dear donors and friends.
With the big donations of het July Bonus Day on GlobalGiving we made big improvements. After some discussions on how to carry on with this project, we decides to go with the original plan of supporting the collective water supply to Tanzanian Villages.
We are pleased to share that on the 4th of October we successfully completed the distribution of 13 water pipe rolls to three villages under the Makilenga Water Project here in Tanzania.
Representatives from the respective village water committees convened at the Makilenga Water Project office, where we held a brief meeting before proceeding with the allocation as follows:
1. Maruango Village – 4 rolls
2. Ngajisosia Village – 6 rolls
3. Malula Village – 3 rolls
The community members have committed to excavating the trenches and laying the water pipes themselves. This initiative will significantly improve access to clean water and reduce the long distances currently travelled to fetch water. Destiny Specialists provided the transport of the rolls and donated a roll themselfs, for which we are very grateful.
The Water Project Office expressed sincere appreciation for the generous support of our donors and ongoing commitment to the cause of bringing water to our homes.
If you want to contribute too, they will be very grateful. they need about another 100 rolls to complete their project and we like to contribute more when we can. Hope you consider this project.
