This has been a busy time for Act4Africa field staff as we come to the end of the delivery year for the team in Kasese District and as the team in Jinja begin to mobilise for delivery in our next programme in Mayuge District.
The Kasese team have successfully trained a total of 100 young women as Peer Educators this year which is amazing and over 30,000 thousand young women have directly benefitted from our training.
In Mayuge we have been mobilising among the fishing communities and aim to form 30 new groups of young girls and women who will be given training and support. The target is to train approximately 900 girls over the next year. In order to ensure that we can measure the difference your support makes, over the next few weeks we will be in the field gathering some key data before we start delivery in Mayuge. This will be in the form of questionnaires and face to face interviews and we will be reporting these results in subsequent updates.
Thanks so much for your support from everyone at Act4Africa.
