We hope this message reached you fine and your loved ones well and safe.
We would like to share the latest updates from our team on ground as they continue to deliver their mission works.Since our last update, we have maintained our COVID-19 intervention but in slower pace. We are continued to be grateful and blessed to have you and our volunteers on ground who repack the goods for orderly distribution and reaching out to far- flung communities.
We also started the water system projects that would provide clean water for communities. As we continue to battle this pandemic, access and availability of safe water is critical to our health and well-being, especially during these times when simple sanitation practices such as handwashing can save lives. According to the WHO, around 1 in 10 Filipinos still do not have acess to safe water, and water-borne diseases are still part of the top 10 health concerns in our country.
These problems related to water can simply be solved by installing proper water systems and ensuring sources of water are stable and protected from contamination.
We are mere channels for your kindness and stewards of generous givers, and we remain grateful and inspired.
