Dear Partners and Friends,
It was a challenging 2020 to all of us because of the global pandemic that hit us unawares.
You have been a great help in our continuous effort to keep our partner communities (Kapitbahayan) safe and cared for during the lockdown period and community quarantine. Since the launch of our “Operation Walang Iwanan, Walang Hawaan” (Operation Leave No One Behind, Leave Covid-19 Behind), in total, we have been able to deliver relief packs to some 14,825 families to date as of February 2021.
We cannot thank you enough for being with us in this journey. Once again, we would like to extend our deep gratitude and recognize everyone for their heroic acts of caring and sharing through their generous support. You have all embraced our battle cry to leave no one behind and inspire family, friends and even strangers to do the same.
This pandemic has indeed changed us. It has taught us self-care, but it has also ushered care for others. It taught us to be courageous in the face of adversities, but it has also taught us strength in coming together. It has taught us to give what we have, even when it is the only thing left. We have learned, learned to live, and continue living to love.
