Gawad Kalinga was placed in a role of that of go-between in the service of our communities since the pandemic began. Private individuals and groups come to us to assist them in reaching out to others in need by entrusting to us the distribution of all sorts of goods that can aid and alleviate the plight of our quarantine-affected countrymen.
We are blessed to have you and our volunteers on ground who repack the goods for orderly distribution and reaching out to far- flung communities. Since the launch of our “Operation Walang Iwanan, Walang Hawaan” (Operation Leave No One Behind, Leave Covid-19 Behind), in total, we have been able to deliver 18,678 relief packs, assist 100 community pantries.
We are mere channels for your kindness and stewards of generous givers, and we remain grateful and inspired
