Dear friends,
Happy New Year! As we step into 2024, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support throughout 2023. Your support has been the key to our successes this past year, and we are thrilled to share a short recap highlighting the positive impact we have made together.
The year brought several challenges, but we have emerged stronger thanks to a great team that has been with us. We have touched over 7000 animals positively during the past year, be it a life-saving surgery or a vaccination protecting a rescue pet from a deadly disease. Our sanctuary has grown and with that we had to mobilize more resources to cater to the needs of the residents. The highlight of the months of November and December has been once again the amazing transformation tales.
Having found himself injured in an accident, Rhino literally sought help from people passing by, until someone really stopped and took note of him. Afflicted by radial nerve paralysis, he had to undergo an emergency amputation. Rhino has been making steady progress as he endears himself to all our staff and volunteers.
Stacy's story began when she was stuffed in a bag and left on the streets to die. Wrapped in matted fur and tormented by relentless fleas, she took a long time to warm up to love and care. She suffered from a stiff neck due to fused spinal bones making her not a very likely candidate to find a forever home. However, fate had something better in store for her as she found a safe haven in the abode of a compassionate soul who stepped forward to adopt her. Today, we are delighted to follow her new journey where she is showered with unlimited love and care.
Thanks to your unwavering suport, we have been able to rewrite the past of several rescues like Rhino and Stacy. As the new year unravels, we hope you will continue to place your trust in us in carrying out what we do best—transforming lives, one paw at a time!
For as little as 1 USD a day, you can support the treatment and care of one rescue pet and for as little as 1.50 USD a day, you can cover the entire cost of food, treatment, and care of one rescue pet.
Thank you!
