Dear friends,
We are excited to announce that we have raised all the funds required to create a beautiful 50-tree orchard at Peaceable Primate Sanctuary!
Fruit trees will create a source of fresh, healthy nutrition for the sanctuary's 45 primate residents, many of whom had been used in the research and pet industry before coming to their new home at the Sanctuary. FTPF believes all animals deserve to lead happy and healthy lives and now we have the opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of those at Peaceable. Fruit trees will provide our primate friends with an abundant supply of high-quality, edible fruits to supplement their current diet, creating a long-term source of tasty and fresh nutrition. The trees will also add variety and beauty to the homes of these very deserving animals.
The orchard planting event is currently being scheduled in collaboration with the Peaceable sanctuary team, but will likely happen in spring 2022. If you are interested in joining us as a volunteer once the date is set, please email us at info@ftpf.org.
