HAPPY 2023 TO ALL!
It's a new year and it's time to push new goals, new vision from what destruction COVID 19 has brought about to the world! it is time to live life to the new normal and get moving forward.
the field of education is moving toward normalcy and will fully implement face to face classes. this brought about the surge of enrollees in the youth sector eager to experience learning and peer inetraction with gusto which makes the lack of classrooms a happy problem at the same time a not so happy problem. construction was stopped due to government regulations over the pandemic.
the original design of the project was envisioned years ago that the university came up with a new design to accommodate all learners. to do this, more funding is needed for this project. we continue to appeal from the GlobalGiving donors that this realization will be achieved.
again, the univeristy's vision of providing quality education for financially challenged but intellectually capable children will always be that standing mission. at foundation university, no kid is left behind.

HYBRID OPENING

classroom doors have finally opened to these kids
Finally after two and a half years of e-learning, the Department of Education has allowed hybrid classes. Some days in a week, the students hold their classes face to face while other days are online classes. It is a very good start for the youth to be able to interact again while still observing the necessary protocols of wearing face masks and constant washing of hands. The classroom size is limited to 20 students only. It is still well and good.
The Science Wing is still put on hold as the university is struggling to regain what was lost during the pandemic. Plans of finishing the building has been put off due to lack of budget and workers have been either temporarily laid off or retrenched in the past years.
We are hoping against hope that this building will still come to fruition and GlobalGiving has been a very great instrument to achieve this dream.

IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC 6
By GIRLIE S BERNARDEZ | Project Leader
![OUR GOAL]()
OUR GOAL
We are anticipating a light at the end of this dark tunnel called COVID. Variant after variant keep on emerging while safety guidelines also keep on changing depending on the severity. It has been 2 years into this situation. It has been 2 years that this project was kept on hold.
For 2 years the university has struggled to keep the school afloat. Despite generous donors diligently contributing to the project there has been much delay in reopening construction due to constant changes in COVID related policies which did not exempt construction and its workers.
Plans are now ongoing in the resumption of this project. The science wing will ease the accommodation of more students moreso that we are going face to face classes soon and especially that there has been a surge in the enrolment of science and medical related programs at the height of the pandemic.
We continue to appeal to GlobalGiving and its generous donors to continue supporting our cause that we may be able to reach the light with the purpose of educating more young people in the field of science who will someday become our frontliners in beating health issues that may create a similar crisis that we havent been prepared to handle.
