The project will train 800 catering business people in hima-uganda on food safety management procedures based on the principles of hazard analysis and critical control points The project will raise food safety standards, protect consumers and help catering business people to comply with food hygiene law. Iam confident that this food safety training will prove a valuable resource to all of us committed to the very important issue of raising food safety standards and protecting consumers.
Catering business people in hima lack training on food safety management and therefore they do not apply food safety management procedures based on the principles of hazard analysis and critical control points to their businesses Some of the catering businesses are closing down due to lack of customers most consumers are complaining of poor food hygiene and other consumers end up getting illnesses characterized by stomach pains, vomiting, diarrhea and headache developing within 1-6 hours.
The project will provide training to 800 food handlers (catering business people) in food safety management allowing them to apply food safety management procedures based on the principles of hazard analysis and critical control points to their businesses.
The project will train 800 catering business people (food handlers) in food safety management. The project will help catering business people to comply with food hygiene law and this will protect business' reputation, improve catering businesses, reduce risks of food incidents,enhanced business image attracting higher caliber staff and new customers, satisfy the requirements of customers and raise the food safety standards and protect consumers.
