The Janani Home for Girls, a project of Prime Trust, was started in the year 2013, and after a period of four years, the license was issued by the Department of Social Welfare Department, Government of Puducherry. It has been renewed for all these years. Now, after assessing our support for the children and the facility we provide to them, the government of Puducherry has graciously extended our license until 31.03.2027.
Since we handle girl children, the government is keen to take all monitoring steps for the safety and well-being of the children.
Many government agencies and staff members are involved in running this project.
The Board of Trustees and the children of Janani Home, thank all our donors from GlobalGiving, staff members, and volunteers for their great contribution to helping the underprivileged/uncared girls of Puducherry.
