Food Aid and School Supplies

Hi Dear Donors, 

Wishing you a great summer and we hope you are well. The focus this period was on the education projects, because on that project the funds were coming in. We all thank your for that. 

We had a micro project for Violeth, were a small donation was given. But we had some funds left from earlier times, so we have bought a solar kit voor het family home of Violeth, that a member of Destiny Hope Foundation installed for them and instructed how to use this item. It has a 20W solar panel, connected to a battery. It supplies energy for 3 connected led lights, a radio and 2 USB charging points. In this house also lives a grandmother and other siblings who will benefit from the light in the evening, when Violeth can make her homework.

Also Pendaeli went shopping with Violeth to get her new shoes, exercise books, pencils, pens and a mathematical set, so she is good to go for another year in school.

Violeth and her family are very thankful for the gift of light, schoolsupplies and the shoes, because the others were worn out of the daily walk to school.

So you see, with a little help you can make a lot of impact for a family. We thank you for you donation and see for the other children we want to send to school if you care for more impact.

We want to remind you we have a micro project here for Haytham; he wants to start next year in primairy school and he could all the support. We have 3 other kids who need help to continue their education, so get in touch for more information.

Hello dear friends of Destiny Hope Foundation.

We are pleased to inform you that this week (16 april) we distributed school supplies to another school than before, providing now 600pcs of exercise books, 96pcs of counter books and 150pcs of ball pens to King’ori Primary School. 

We had a donation on this project on last New Year's Eve that came in with the new donations in February and March, so we were finally able to support these childeren with their school supplies for 2024.

The head teacher of King’ori Primary School, Mr. Balozi, did thank you a lot for your generosity hand on education to his school pupils. You see it is the rain season right now and they have a schooluniform, but not all children have good shoes f.e., so we are happy with al the help we can give them. 

We have another project, called 'send 10 children to school' were you can support a single or more childeren in their study to become an educated adult. We can provide information on the child you support, like Violeth, we have been able to pay for her schoolcosts and food on the school recently, so she could go further with her education. Feel free to inform about the possibilities. We didn't go deep into the foodsection in this report, but foodaid is always welcome too, see the other reports. If you have specific wishes when you donate, please inform us, so we can do it; otherwise we relieve the highest needs first.
