On 1 September 2025, NHSD in collaboration with its collaboration partners Kaus-e-Kazah Welfare Organization, La Compte and Air University, conducted a flood response in Sialkot.
Sialkot was substantially impacted as a consequence of the floods and the lack of preparation by government systems to protect the local communities. NHSD was among the earliest respondents in this area and were among the first ones to respond and provide food rations and medicines to the communities. Significant damage had been caused by the floods which impacted the capacity of the local communities to function effectively in their areas.
Attached is the report focusing on the endeavors of field staff towards supporting the local communities.
