What are our concerns?
In Argentina, 1 in 2 young people fail to obtain a secondary school diploma within the standard education system. The risk of dropping out of school mainly affects young people living in vulnerable contexts, where the problem rises to 7 out of 10. The need to start working early is one of the main reasons affecting the attainment of a secondary school diploma. Caregiving responsibilities, lack of access to technology and connectivity, and low socio-educational levels in families are also factors that contribute to school dropout rates.
What is our proposal?
Our proposal is to accompany students between 12 and 18 years of age in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability, so that they can progress and finish high school. The Program promotes, through accompaniment, the development of socio-emotional skills that contribute to: improve the school career of young people; increase their chances of obtaining a high school diploma; project their future with more opportunities.
Futuros Egresados is our core program, born in 1997, and is implemented through three fundamental pillars:
2025 in review: reach, partnerships, and collective impact
In 2025, through our 4 programs, networks, and partner organizations, we reached more than 8,000 adolescents and young people across the country, all of them seeking better opportunities to build a brighter future through education.
Within this framework, the Future Graduates Program provided personalized educational support to 3,756 students nationwide, working closely with allied organizations to help them remain in school and move toward graduation. Among students in their final year of secondary school, 80% successfully obtained their secondary school diploma. This key achievement reflects the impact of sustained accompaniment and close coordination with schools and families.
Throughout the year, we organized the transition day “Potencia tu futuro: el día después de la escuela”, along with multiple exchange and guidance sessions for students in the final two years of secondary school. These spaces were designed to inspire young people, encourage reflection, and support them in building their own life projects. In total, more than 540 students from 25 localities participated in these activities, which offered opportunities to share experiences, explore future pathways, and strengthen motivation to continue studying or prepare for the world of work.
In addition, during 2025 we carried out more than 35 activities that brought us closer to schools, companies, and hundreds of young people eager to learn and project their future. Together with our corporate partners, we held workshops, panels, and visits that provided real-world perspectives and inspiring role models, reinforcing the idea that educational opportunities are strengthened when they are built collaboratively.
Looking ahead
2025 leaves us with shared stories, lessons learned, and achievements made possible by the commitment, dedication, and trust of our donors, volunteers, partners, and beneficiaries. We look ahead to 2026 with the hope of continuing to work in partnership to build a more equitable education system.
