In recent years we have seen stories of many families where ensuring daily food is a task that is not always achieved when an emergency appears. Time teaches us how fragile we can be in the face of an emergency, and even more so if it is a global one, whether due to something as small as the COVID virus or as big as a war. It's time to create stories with hope with a better future.
We are a non-profit organization, we provide food support in the state of Puebla and in the State of Tlaxcala, until January 2020 we provided weekly food support to 132,173 people of all ages, the following year due to the pandemic we served more than 170,000. Currently the history of many families is being reorganized to be able to face the needs they live, with price increases and lack of income.
As a Food Bank, our work for 26 years has been to provide food support to people who do not have access to daily food so that in an emergency, families in communities that are highly vulnerable or people with low resources can provide them with food. . The fight against hunger is a titanic task and we know that we cannot do it alone. We have seen how fragile we are and how easily we can fall into food insecurity, but thanks to the generosity of the luckiest people who share, we can get ahead.
This project is a clear example that donations have allowed us, even in a pandemic, to continue providing food support to thousands of families on a weekly basis, we are only the means to bring the help that you continue to provide us.
