Fighting corona virus in the slums

SUMMARY

• Children and adults of old age are highly at risk and vulnerable to Corona Virus infectio due to lack of good hygiene.
• Whereby they can not afford sanitizers, water, soap and good sanitation.

CHALLENGE

• Lack of clean water in the slums puts them in danger and vulnerable to Corona Virus infections.
• The pandemic has brought financial challenges in the slums eg; lack of food, soaps, sanitizers, masks etc.

SOLUTION

• By providing them with clean water by digging boreholes and water reserviour will minimizethe spread of Corona Virus.

LONG-TERM IMPACT

• By digging boreholes and building latrines and provide clean water and sanitation. 
• This will help reducethe risk and save lives for both children and adult.

We as Tumaini Fund For Economic Development International.Through this difficult time of pandemic we have seen many people in the nairobi slums have been going through many challenges such lack of facemasks,sanitizers and basic needs like food and Education and some of them lost their jobs due to corona virus peroid. 

As a team,we have really done our best to make sure that they can get this better things to save their lives since these is most dangerous we really experiencing.For the support we have provided for them atleast some of the things they needed in order for them to be safe and survive.We are contuing to see improvements and we are happy for our well work done.We take this opportunity to thank all donours for much support they have really shown us .thank you and may God bless you abundantly.

As a team we decided to stand with the people in the society ,we Educated then on how they would prevent  themselves from this pandemic which isspreading worlwide  in the country.We tried our level best to provideforthem some basic needs such as sanitizers,facemasks and food because some of them were uncapable of providing f orthemselves  during  this  difficult  period.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               As a team we have worked together to make sure all the people in the society knows howto stay along with this pandemic disease of covid 19 and upto that  we have seen improvements.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          We thank all the donours for much support they have shown untous we really appreciate them for much support .God bless you.                                        

We decided to stand with the people in the slums, we educated them  on how they would prevent themselves from this  pandemic which is  spreading in  a wide range nowadays in our country.  We  tried our level best to provide some  basic needs eg. sanitizers, face masks, food because some of them are uncapable of providing for themselves. 

As a team we have worked together to make sure that all the people in the society knows how to stay along with this pandemic of covid 19, and upto we have seen some improvement .

We take this opportunity to thank all the donors who have worked with us to make a way not this pandemic not to reach our places and also  thank them for their full support and continue with that faith because we trying our best to keep social distance and being quarantine ourselves in our areas ,Thank all for the suport by faith we won.

We decided to stand with the people in the slums that is we Educated them on how they would avoid being attacked with this corona virus disease in the area where they stay .Through this tough times most of the people could not afford anything to use so we agreed and decided to help them because they lacked every thing especially basic needs to use at home or any place.Due to their more problems we actualy decided to help with the help of our team of GlobalGiving by providing them some needs example main ones like sanitizers,masks,clean water,water tanks and etc .Alkso as partb of us we gave them food because this pandemic made many people loose their jobs especially many parents were sufering the cause their childern are at home and they to put something on their tables .
