Challenge

The official reports about students who drop out of schools are so high. All of these catastrophic situations of extreme poverty, hunger, civil war, huge unemployment and outbreak of cholera have gathered to affect the enrollment and attendance rate of students in primary and secondary schools, particularly girls. Because of extreme poverty parents are not able to provide the necessary and nutritious food for their children.

Solution

Providing nutritious breakfast meals to 1000 rural school girls of AlNajah School, Dhaban, Sana'a Governorate will increase the number of girls in the primary schools. It will reduce the children hunger during the school day. Moreover, it will help and encourage parents to send their daughters to schools; abolishing that negative attitude towards girls' learning. Goal No. 4" To eliminate gender disparities". It will contribute so much in achieving equality between boys and girls.

Long-Term Impact

1000 school girls at AlNajah School for girls will get benefit from this project for one academic term. More than 1500 families will get benefit from this project indirectly.
