Listening to our Community: Introducing Feedback+

By Camila Camborda | Project Contributor

Dear Supporter,

Planning is in full swing as Feedback+New York is rapidly approaching! Feedback+ is our response to feedback from past Summit attendees who asked us to bring in more diverse voices, and bring our events to where feedback action is taking place. Our first stop? New York City. Thanks to your support, it is shaping up to be an event where conversations are with people, not about them, and frontline staff are driving our agenda. Here is what else we have been working on:

1. Scholarships for Feedback+ New York. We want to make sure as many voices are represented at the event, which is why we are awarding partial and full scholarships to Feedback+New York! So far we have awarded two scholarships and are still reviewing incoming applications.

2. Feedback Crash Course in NYC. We are also hosting a Feedback Crash Course in New York, bringing tools and training to local organizations who can then improve and implement feedback practices in their own work! These individuals and organizations are already doing great work and we look forward to hearing how they can take their impact even further by better listening to their constituents!

And in case you missed it:

3. Upcoming equity blog series. Equity and dignity are at the center of feedback. In an upcoming blog series, we will explore the intersections of power, voice and respect and how these factors come into play when building feedback loops. In order to best reflect the feedback community, we are seeking authors from across the sector who can offer unique perspectives.

We are grateful for your support and excited to continue working towards a more equitable feedback field. Feedback is a growing movement, and you are an integral part of its success!

With gratitude,

The Feedback Labs Team
