At Feedback Labs, our work is rooted in the belief that people are the best experts in their lives and they should drive the policies/programs that affect them. We also aim to leverage our place in the feedback field to amplify and uplift the voices of those most often excluded from the conversation. This project seeks to support our programs and enable us to collectively empower and center community voices in the feedback field.
Too often, service aid, philanthropy, nonprofits, and government make decisions for the people at the heart of their work, rather than with them. At Feedback Labs, our work is rooted in the belief that people are the best experts in their lives and they should drive the policies/programs that affect them.
This project seeks to support Feedback Labs' mission and programs to create incentives that encourage good feedback practice (e.g., Feedback Incentives Learning Group), offer tools/training (e.g., Crash Course), and foster a community of leaders and organizations committed to listening (e.g., LabStorms, Feedback+). Additionally, Feedback Labs seeks to shift power and leverage our place in the feedback field to amplify and center the voices of those most often excluded from the conversation.
We envision a world where service aid, philanthropy, nonprofits, and governments have the tools and skills to productively interact with their clients and hear their honest opinions about the services they receive. We believe that making people's voices central to the decision-making process will revolutionize social impact. We hope that by making feedback the norm, others in the field can grow and build on their strategies for putting people and communities at the forefront of decision-making.
