Aid, philanthropy, non-profits and government, often, make decisions for people, rather than with them. At Feedback Labs, we believe people are the best experts in their lives and should drive the policies and programs that affect them. Feedback+ events invite feedback proponents from across the world to share their strategies for putting people and communities at the forefront of decision-making. This project seeks to sponsor attendance for more of these change-makers to our Summits.
Programs are more successful and have higher satisfaction ratings when they integrate constituent feedback. Many front-line practitioners from small organizations don't have the financial means to attend trainings and conferences that help them improve their feedback practices. They need help getting to feedback gatherings where they can share their experiences and access knowledge, tools and relationships.
Your support will enable front-line practitioners from smaller organizations to share and improve their feedback practices. Supporting this project will enable them to access trainings and conferences offered by Feedback Labs and the broader feedback community, such as Feedback+ and the Feedback Crash Course.
The feedback community envisions a world where people are empowered with tools and knowledge to enact feedback loops in their work. We envision a world where listening and responding to constituents is the norm. We'll achieve that 'new normal' when a critical mass of practitioners embrace great feedback practices. Helping front-line practitioners share and improve their feedback practices is a step towards achieving that vision in an equitable way.
