Equity and Feedback are Intertwined

By Meg VanDeusen | Campaign Manager

2018 GlobalGiving Disaster Feedback Fellows

Dear Supporter,

Thanks to your continued support, equity is becoming the center of the feedback conversation.

At the 2018 Feedback Summit, you helped fund equity scholarships for 21 community changemakers working to democratize philanthropy, aid, and governance. Their voices were essential in the development of the Summit and the connections and projects that followed. Take a look at key highlights here!

The feedback movement demands a fundamental shift in aid and philanthropy where "expert" voice will no longer hold all the answers. Feedback respects all voices, not just the powerful or wealthy ones. We, therefore, see feedback as an essential component in the fight for inclusion and justice in the world of aid and philanthropy.

This year at the Feedback Summit, we aim to triple the number of frontline practitioners bringing their voices and expertise to the movement. We invite you to follow along on that journey. We are grateful for your support in valuing every voice. You are part of making the feedback movement a reality!

With gratitude,

Meg VanDeusen, Summit Manager
