Behind the statistics of Karamoja's hunger crisis are mothers facing heartbreaking choices about how to feed their families. When food becomes scarce, women often bear the responsibility of finding something to put on the table while protecting children from malnutrition.
The current crisis has placed hundreds of thousands of people in need of urgent assistance, while thousands of children and pregnant and breastfeeding women are expected to require nutritional treatment.
Our campaign seeks support for emergency food and nutrition assistance for vulnerable households.
