For a family experiencing extreme hunger, one nutritious meal can mean strength to continue another day. Across Karamoja, thousands of households are facing severe food insecurity following difficult climatic conditions and poor agricultural production. Government emergency food assistance began in July 2026 after the situation deteriorated significantly.
But the needs remain immense. We are reaching out to our global community to help extend food and nutrition assistance to families who have been left with few options.
