2026 - Project Planning and Project Results

1. Training Week
In the last week of January, the Institute resumed its activities with focus and planning.

We began preparations for the return to classes with an internal training week focused on strengthening management and ensuring the sustainability of our projects. The program included sessions on Federal Incentive Laws, important funding mechanisms for social initiatives in Brazil.

We also held training sessions on finance and resource management. The team worked on personal financial management skills, strengthening everyone’s ability to share knowledge and promote financial freedom among the children and families served.

We concluded the week by reinforcing the Institute’s internal processes, contributing to IMC’s transparency, team alignment, and the continuous improvement of our institutional practices.

2. Return to Classes
With the team prepared and planning completed, the Institute resumed classes and workshops in February, continuing the activities developed with our students and reaffirming our commitment to consistent, high-quality education.

This year, we introduced our continuing education proposal, structuring the progression of participants who completed the ten- and twelve-year cycles and are now advancing to new stages within the projects.

This new phase includes the development of personal and life projects, socio-emotional education, self-regulation, and cultural activities such as music, theater, and dance, expanding opportunities for growth.

3. Looking Back – Sacolinha de Natal
At the end of 2025, we held our traditional annual event, Sacolinha de Natal, with the goal of ensuring that children and their families could celebrate the holidays with dignity.

This year, donations totaled R$35,585.07, (U$6,790.27) significantly contributing to the execution of the initiative and enabling 256 children to receive Christmas gift bags, expanding our reach and strengthening the social impact of the action. The event is also an opportunity to extend our support to all children within the families we serve, reinforcing our commitment to comprehensive care.

The deliveries took place within the Projeto S.E.R. and Projeto Pequenos Falcões projects, during special moments carefully prepared to celebrate the date alongside our team and the families served. Each gift bag was assembled with special items thoughtfully selected to bring joy and dignity to the children.

It was a moment of celebration in which we shared smiles, strengthened bonds, and reaffirmed that caring for people is at the center of everything we do.

None of this would have been possible without the collaboration of our sponsors. You were essential in making this dream a reality.

4. Investment in the Projects
Between December and February, Instituto Melo Cordeiro invested more than R$ 313,929.78 (U$ 59,908.19) in its projects. Approximately 10% of this amount was made possible through the sponsorship program.

This means that without our sponsors, it would not be possible to sustain IMC’s daily activities. During this quarter, we ensured healthy meals, quality education, cultural development, and Christmas gifts for our children.

Between January and March, Instituto Melo Cordeiro plans to invest R$ 151,223.81 (U$ 28,859.64) in its projects, with more than 25% of this investment coming from the sponsorship program. This means that without our sponsors, it would not be possible to sustain the Institute’s daily projects.

During this quarter, we ensured healthy meals, quality education, and cultural development for our students!

Thank you for supporting our impact,

Sincerely,

Instituto Melo Cordeiro.
