Benefits of having good physical health

Having learnt about the advantages of the benefits of participating in physical exercises; and having known that: Kole Intellectual Forum is advocating to their students that, physical health helps in: 

  • Increasing metabolic rate
  • Burning extra calories
  • Improving on endurance – both physical and mental
  • Making ones limber
  • Enabling weight loss and helps keeps it off
  • Providing more muscular definition
  • Toning and firming muscles
  • Enhancing coordination and balance
  • Adding sparkle and radiance to your complexion
  • Enhancing the quality of sleep
  • Improving digestion
  • Decreasing stress levels – we are all busy people with various stresses from home to work. Walk it off and help change your mood.
  • Reducing depression – Exercise increase the production of Endorphins which is our body’s “Feel good” hormone.
  • Increasing on one’s strength and stamina – Over a period of time exercise will make everyday things feel much easier to do.
  • Reducing blood pressure
  • Decreasing risk of Osteoporosis – Exercise, including weight-bearing exercise, reduces the risk of Osteoporosis.
  • Decreasing risk of heart attack – helps lower cholesterol and blood pressure and when, combined with some healthy eating choices, helps diminish the chances of having a heart attack
  • Sharpening mental focus – as we age we need all the tools available to stay young and to think young. Exercise helps with focus and concentration.
  • Increasing on one’s energy – combine exercise and nutrition for a powerful tool in increasing muscle strength and energy
  • Improving self-esteem – it’s empowering to look in the mirror and see a difference in yourself. Regular exercise takes some discipline. The benefits will carry over into all parts of your life!
