schools reopened for the third term. While many families welcomed the occasion with excitement, vulnerable households often face difficult decisions when a new school term begins.
A child may be ready and eager to learn, but the family may be struggling to provide school fees, meals, uniforms, shoes, books, and other requirements. When resources are extremely limited, education can compete with basic household needs.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to help children under our care overcome these barriers.
Since yesterday, we have been supporting children to return to their respective schools and resume their studies. Our work is focused on protecting their access to education while responding to the practical needs that can determine whether they remain in school.
For us, keeping a child in school is not simply about attendance. It is about protecting an opportunity.
Education gives children the ability to develop knowledge, discover their talents, build relationships, develop confidence, and prepare for meaningful participation in their communities. When a child is forced out of school because of poverty, those opportunities become increasingly difficult to recover.
This third term is another chance for the children we serve to complete their academic year and prepare for promotion to the next class.
We are deeply grateful to donors whose generosity helps make this possible.
Your support can reduce the pressure placed on vulnerable families and give children a stronger chance to continue learning.
As children return to classrooms, we are reminded that sustainable change begins with consistent investment.
