Every child at risk of leaving school deserves to be identified before a temporary challenge becomes a permanent dropout. In vulnerable communities, children can disappear from school because of poverty, unpaid school requirements, lack of meals, family hardship, early marriage, teenage pregnancy, disability, or other challenges. Without reliable information, these children can easily be overlooked.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to strengthen household enrollment and dropout tracking systems that help us understand each child’s educational situation and respond to emerging risks. Through household visits, school follow-up, documentation, referrals, and regular monitoring, we can identify children who are struggling and connect them with appropriate support.
Donor support can help provide data collection tools, secure record-management systems, staff training, transportation for follow-up visits, communication, and resources for community and school engagement. These investments can strengthen our ability to maintain accurate records, monitor children’s progress, identify changing needs, and follow up with families when a child becomes vulnerable to dropping out.
Your contribution can help turn information into timely action. It can help ensure that a child who stops attending school is not simply recorded as a statistic, but becomes a priority for follow-up and support.
When you support stronger tracking, you help F SSIBU find vulnerable children, understand their challenges, respond earlier, and strengthen accountability to the communities and donors who make this work possible.
